The Start-Up, Launch, or Scale Entrepreneurship Innovation Bootcamp

Updated: Oct 8

The SBA reports 10.6 million minority businesses in the United States. Five million are Hispanic/Latino-owned, and  3.5 million are Black-owned. Latina and Black women business owners are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the United States.

While many programs are focused on minority and women-owned businesses, significant challenges remain regarding lack of funds and access to capital and the difficulty acquiring adequate know-how, skills, and support for business development growth and preparedness.

Additionally, pervasive inequities and stereotypes about business success remain. This issue and the challenges above impact business self-esteem.

Businesses must experience a hands-on, patient, yet rigorous program that will inspire through teaching, coaching, and mentoring to prepare them for the investment, resources, and support needed for success.

If you are a business owner and were given a convenient and affordable online business program that could provide you with the essential tools and access to top experts who will show you how to launch or expand your business for financial investment, would you join this program?

On September 1, Save Our Schools for Our Kids Foundation, Famiglia Doro TV of Connecticut, in partnership with Youth Lab Colorado, USA, piloted and sponsored a rigorous online eight-week Saturday and Sunday weekend 4-hour Entrepreneurship and Innovation Accelerator boot camp program.

Twelve start-up and experienced small businesses from diverse backgrounds and underserved communities participated in an experiential, hands-on, and Project-Based Learning that significantly differs from the average Boot Camp.

The businesses were given a real-world customized experience approach to equip future entrepreneurs with the practical tools to launch their companies and attract investments.

Whether it is Angel or Seed Round funding for Accelerators/Incubators, Impact, Venture, Private Equity, or Hedge Funds, these businesses have gained confidence and learned to develop business acumen skills successfully. They have honed their abilities and positioned themselves to secure the investment funds to launch, scale, grow, and be profitable.

Here are a few video testimonies from our pilot cohort.

Upon completion of the program, these businesses will participate in a special reception and ceremony and have the opportunity to showcase and pitch their businesses to an audience of investors for funding. Each business owner will continue to receive mentoring and support until every company gets the financial investment it needs and earns.

We plan to launch our second eight-weekend cohort of twenty-five businesses in Oct - Nov 2024 with the same expected outcomes in mind.

We invite you to participate directly or support us by sponsoring a small business or two to join The Start-Up, Launch, or Scale Entrepreneurship Innovation Bootcamp.

To reiterate, our approach is rigorous yet patient. No participant is left behind. We understand how they learn so they can learn at an accelerated pace.

If you are thinking of scaling your business or desire to have your business go global and are unsure of how to do this, then this program is also for you.

However, if you have all the support you need and are successful, we invite you to sponsor a small, women-owned, or minority-owned business to join our boot camp. With this sponsorship, you will become an official program and co-branding partner by sponsoring a business(es) to register and participate in the next cohort of business participants with tons of benefits.
